The story of the apartment!
The melodious-sounding Tvarožník is a rock formation located right on the Czech-Polish border, roughly 450 metres from the Vosecká bouda mountain chalet. It was named in memory of the production of Krkonoše Mountain cheese. A flat rocking stone in the upper part dominates the rock formation. The site offers a view of Poland and the nearby Szrenica Mountain.

Secret tip
Although the border ridge crossing is interesting for ski mountaineering or backcountry skiing, you'll enjoy it most in the summer. It would be a shame not to take advantage of the Czech-Polish Friendship Route and enjoy a ski mountaineering trip up Szenica from the Polish side and then return to Rokytnice. You just need to arrange car transport to Poland or take the train to Poreba.

Description
The three-room apartment with an area of 74 m2 with two bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the third floor of the Skialp building. The south-facing interior of the living room has access to a private 11-m2 balcony, and in addition to light throughout the day, it provides a beautiful view of the mountain landscape. The interior of the apartment provides plenty of built-in storage space and each apartment also has access to a communal wellness area with a Finnish sauna, separate cubicles for storing skis and bikes and the resort garden.

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a mountain town with a full range of services and is one of the best ski resorts in the Czech Republic. The town is also the uncrowned king of Czech ski mountaineering and will delight cross-country hikers with both rugged terrain and groomed trails.
The name of the SKIALP apartment building celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer many nice trips – from those for ski mountaineering beginners, which run along the slopes, to more demanding tours along the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains. The individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited on ski tours of the area.
