If you want to shorten it, it is good to park at Mísečky, where you can reach Rokytnice in 20 minutes. From here you can reach the top of Medvědín in a minute and the circuit through the Medvědí boudy is a short walk. You can also go crossing from Medvědín back to Rokytnice over the ridge.

The name of the SKIALP apartment building celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer many nice trips – from those for ski mountaineering beginners, which run along the slopes, to more demanding tours along the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains. The individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited on ski tours of the area.
