Lysá hora is a dominant landscape feature towering above Rokytnice. Its peak is 1344 metres above sea level and a cable car drops you off just a few metres lower than that. Ski mountaineering enthusiasts can easily reach the top. You can choose the blue, red or black slope for your ride down or the very demanding climb below the cable car from Zalomený. An interesting alternative is provided by the trail through Ručičky, Dvoračky and Růženčina zahrádka.

Climbing Lysá hora can be the start of a hiking trip along the ridges. The effort will be rewarded. Unless you descend to a lower altitude, the journey along the ridge is mostly on flat ground.

Some like vigorous and fast hikes for exercise. Fortunately, there are those among us who just enjoy a nice walk. That is why we recommend a stop at BigFood, aka the Garage, in the middle of your climb. This is a very stylish mountain bar, located next to the Švadlenka lodge. The rest here is worth it.

Description

The one-bedroom 56-m2 apartment provides plenty of sunlight throughout the day thanks to the south-facing orientation of the main living areas and the modern glazed façade. Both rooms have access to a spacious private terrace with a garden, seating and a beautiful view of the highest Czech mountains. The interior of the apartment provides plenty of built-in storage space and each apartment also has access to a communal wellness area with a Finnish sauna, separate cubicles for storing skis and bikes and the resort garden.

Location

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a mountain town with a full range of services and is one of the best ski resorts in the Czech Republic. The town is also the uncrowned king of Czech ski mountaineering and will delight cross-country hikers with both rugged terrain and groomed trails.

The name of the SKIALP apartment building celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer many nice trips – from those for ski mountaineering beginners, which run along the slopes, to more demanding tours along the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains. The individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited on ski tours of the area.
