The story of the apartment!

It is not difficult to go cross-country skiing on the ridge from Rokytnice. It is possible to climb directly from Rokytnice or to get significant help from the cable car to Lysá hora. There are long plains on the ridge and many kilometres of cross-country skiing. Just don't count on the tracks always being perfectly groomed. They are often destroyed by hikers on foot. Go to the ridge when the weather is nice and with the Záchranka mobile app.

Secret tip

If the weather is nice, go up Lysá hora in the afternoon or even before 4 p.m. (depending on your speed) and return on a ridge tour back to Rokytnice. The ideal route is through Růženčina zahrádka, turning to Vrbatova, then to the Four Lords (Čtyři páni) and to Vosecká. You can take a short break here, as you won’t be going back over the ridge. You will start your descent to Krakonoš's Breakfast (Krakonošova snídaně), Kládova cesta, then Ručičky and the descent to Rokytnice. It’s always best to take a headlamp along.

Description

The three-room apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms is located on the third floor of the Nordic building. The south-facing orientation and modern glass façade guarantee all-day sunlight and the 11-m2 balcony provides private seating in the resort garden surrounded by the mountain landscape. The interior of the apartment provides plenty of built-in storage space and each apartment also has access to a communal wellness area with a Finnish sauna, separate cubicles for storing skis and bikes and the resort garden.

The NORDIC apartment building symbolises the endless possibilities of cross-country skiing in Rokytnice nad Jizerou, which offers 32 km of groomed trails for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. Close by there are hundreds of additional kilometres of trails and the majority of the most famous and beautiful starting points in the Jizera and Krkonoše Mountains. The individual apartments in the Nordic building are named after these cross-country skiing locations.
