The story of the apartment!
The legendary ski mountaineering race with a tradition of more than twenty years is organised by the local Alpine Club. Not even the "Covid" year could stop it. The route mostly runs to Lysá hora and its surroundings, and the advantage is the possibility of choosing the route according to your level of skill. This is a very friendly event and a chance to meet other ski mountaineers.

Definitely don't be afraid to participate, even if you are a beginner. You can choose a simple route, and participation will definitely increase your level of skill. There are refreshments on the route and you can also approach it as a walk. It is a treat to see racing ski mountaineering that is more like cross-country skiing.

Description
The three-room 74-m2 apartment with two bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the right-hand side of the first floor of the Skialp building. The south-facing interior of the living room provides access to a generous private terrace with outdoor seating and guarantees a breath-taking backdrop in the setting of the Huťský Stream, surrounded by the mountain landscape. The interior of the apartment provides plenty of built-in storage space and each apartment also has access to a communal wellness area with a Finnish sauna, separate cubicles for storing skis and bikes and the resort garden.

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a mountain town with a full range of services and is one of the best ski resorts in the Czech Republic. The town is also the uncrowned king of Czech ski mountaineering and will delight cross-country hikers with both rugged terrain and groomed trails.
The name of the SKIALP apartment building celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer many nice trips – from those for ski mountaineering beginners, which run along the slopes, to more demanding tours along the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains. The individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited on ski tours of the area.
