The story of the apartment!

A legendary ski mountaineering race with over twenty years of tradition organized by the local Alpine Club. Not even the "covid" year was able to stop it. The route usually leads to Lysá hora and its surroundings, with the advantage of choosing a route that matches your abilities. It is a very friendly event and a great opportunity to meet other ski mountaineers.

Secret tip

Definitely don't hesitate to participate, even if you are a beginner. You can choose an easy route and the experience will definitely help you move forward. You can find many refreshments availible along the route and you can also think of it as a leisurely walk. It is quite an experience to see a racing skialp that is more like cross-country skiing.

Description

Each apartment also includes a reserved space for storing skis or bicycles, access to the shared spa with Finnish sauna and entry to the resort's extensive garden with relaxation zones.

The name of the SKIALP apartment house celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer a variety of beautiful trips starting with beginner friendly ski mountaineering routes that lead on the ski slopes to more demanding ridge tours across the Krkonoše Mountains. Individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited during ski mountaineering tours in the surrounding area.
