The story of the apartment!
The beautiful Vlčí cesta leads through the forest below Rezek up to the Sedlo pod Dvoračkami. There is often a cross-country ski trail here, yet it is still a nice terrain for a skialp trip. You will most likely continue on to Dvoračky and then up to the ridge.

Secret tip
From Sedlo pod Dvoračkami, head towards Erlebaška and then steeply uphill around Hluboká strouha to Krakonošova cesta. It is a difficult but beautiful climb through forest. Afterwards we recommend turning left and descending to Dovračky for some refreshments. Turn right only in summer or if you really know what you are doing. The route leads over an avalanche slope through Kotelní jámy.

The name of the SKIALP apartment house celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer a variety of beautiful trips starting with beginner friendly ski mountaineering routes that lead on the ski slopes to more demanding ridge tours across the Krkonoše Mountains. Individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited during ski mountaineering tours in the surrounding area.
