The story of the apartment!

The melodiously named Tvarožník is a rock formation located right on the Czech-Polish border only about 450 meters from Vosecká bouda. It was named in memory of a traditional Krkonoše cheese production. In the top section is a flat rocking stone, which forms the dominant of the rock formation. From here you can also enjoy views of Poland and the nearby Szrenica Mountain.

Secret tip

Although the border ridge crossing on skialps or backcountry skis is interesting, you’ll enjoy it the most in summer. When skialping, it would be a shame not to take the Trail of Czech-Polish friendship (Cesta Česko-polského přátelství) and conquer Szrenica from the Polish side and then return back to Rokytnice. You just need to arrange a transport to Poland. Alternatively, there is a train that goes to Poreba.

The south-facing interior of the living room provides an access to a private 10 m2 terrace, that not only ensures natural daylight throughout the day but also provides a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain nature. The apartment's interior provides ample built-in storage space. Each apartment also includes a reserved space for storing skis or bicycles, access to the shared spa with Finnish sauna and entry to the resort's extensive garden with relaxation zones.

The name of the SKIALP apartment house celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer a variety of beautiful trips starting with beginner friendly ski mountaineering routes that lead on the ski slopes to more demanding ridge tours across the Krkonoše Mountains. Individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited during ski mountaineering tours in the surrounding area.
