The story of the apartment!

Snow pits, or Śnieżne Kotły in Polish, offer beautiful views and look very wild, both in winter and summer. These are massive glacial craters. The pit on the northern slope - 550 meters long, 400 meters wide and 300 meters deep - is called the Small Snow Pit (Malá Sněžná jáma). On the eastern slope is a pit called the Great Snow pit (Velká Sněžná jáma) that is 800 meters long, 600 meters wide and 300 meters high. There are also small glacial lakes called Śnieżne Stawki at its bottom. You will also be surprised by the beautiful views from here.

Secret tip

Even if the pits tempt you to ski down, definitely don't do it. The terrain is unstable, often covered with snowdrifts, and the pits have already claimed several lives. It is far more interesting to plan a trip from the Polish side and conquer the ridge from the other side.

Description

One-bedroom apartment that offers 67 m2 of floor space, located on the third floor of the Skialp building. The southern orientation of the main living areas ensures plenty of natural daylight throughout the day. Both living rooms have an access to a private terrace with beautiful views and outdoor seating. The apartment's interior provides ample built-in storage space. Each apartment also includes a reserved space for storing skis or bicycles, access to the shared spa with Finnish sauna and entry to the resort's extensive garden with relaxation zones.

The name of the SKIALP apartment house celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer a variety of beautiful trips starting with beginner friendly ski mountaineering routes that lead on the ski slopes to more demanding ridge tours across the Krkonoše Mountains. Individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited during ski mountaineering tours in the surrounding area.
