Lysá hora, that is a dominant towering above Rokytnice. Its elevation is 1344 metres, and just a few metres below a cable car can take you. On ski touring (skialps), you can easily conquer it by yourself. It's only up to you whether you choose the blue, red or black slope on the way down, or you can choose a really hard climb under the cable car from Zalomený. An interesting alternative is the route via Ručičky, Dvoračky and Růženčina zahrádka. Climbing Lysá hora can be the beginning of a hiking trip along the ridges. It will take a lot of effort, but in the end, it is worth it. At the top it is mostly flat, unless you descend somewhere lower.

Some people like energetic and fast hikes to get fit. But fortunately, there are also those amog us who plan to just walk. That's why we recommend taking a break halfway up at BigFood also known as Garage. It is a very stylish mountain bar located right next to the Švadlenka chalet. A little break here is definitely worth it.

One-bedroom apartment with a floor area of 57.9 m2, located on the first floor of the Skialp building, featuring a generous 18 m2 large terrace that besides seating also offers a private garden. This ensures a private relaxation in a breathtaking mountain nature. The southern positioning of the main living areas ensures natural daylight throughout the day. The apartment's interior provides ample built-in storage space. Each apartment also includes a reserved space for storing skis or bicycles, access to the shared spa with Finnish sauna and entry to the resort's extensive garden with relaxation zones.

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a mountain town with full service and ranks among the best ski resorts in the Czech Republic. The place is also considered as the uncrowned king of Czech ski mountaineering, and it has plenty to offer for lovers of ridge tours and those who prefer groomed cross-country trails.

The name of the SKIALP apartment house celebrates Rokytnice nad Jizerou as the mecca of Czech ski mountaineering. Local landmarks such as Lysá hora, the Kotel peak and other places offer a variety of beautiful trips starting with beginner friendly ski mountaineering routes that lead on the ski slopes to more demanding ridge tours across the Krkonoše Mountains. Individual apartments in the Skialp building are named after interesting places that can be visited during ski mountaineering tours in the surrounding area.
