The story of the apartment!

Going out on cross-country skis from Rokytnice to the ridge is nothing complicated. It is possible to hike directly from Rokytnice or significantly help yourself by taking the cable car to Lysá hora. On the ridge, there are long plains and many kilometres of trails for cross-country skiing. Just don't expect that the trails will always be perfectly groomed. They are often damaged by hikers. Head to the ridge when the weather is nice and make sure to have the Záchranka mobile app.

Secret tip

If the weather is nice, go up to Lysá hora in the afternoon or even before 4 pm (depending on your speed) and go on a ridge hike back to Rokytnice. The ideal route leads through Růženčina zahrádka, after take a turn to Vrbatova, then on to Čtyřem pánům and finally to Vosecká. Here you can take a short break, you will not be going over the ridge again. You will descend to Krakonošova snídaně, continue along the Kládová cesta, then to Ručičky and finally make your way down to Rokytnice. It’s good to always bring a headlamp.

The NORDIC apartment house symbolizes the endless possibilities of cross-country skiing in Rokytnice nad Jizerou, which offers 32 km of groomed trails for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. There are hundreds of additional kilometres in the nearby area, including most of the best known and most beautiful starting points of Krkonoše and the Jizera Mountains. Individual apartments in the Nordic building are named after these cross-country skiing locations.
